King Edward VI School, Lichfield - Year 7 Open Evening

Join us on Wednesday 8th July 2026 for our Open Evening for admission to Year 7 in 2027.

We are opening the school to current year 5 students and their parents/carers from 5.30pm-7.30pm on Wednesday 8th July 2026.

Visitors will be able to walk around key areas of the school site, meet departments and talk to current students and staff. There will also be a presentation from the Headteacher and key staff and students in the hall. This is always very popular and we are operating a ticket system to ensure that we have seats for everyone. Please reserve your place by using the booking system on the right. You will need to book a ticket for each guest attending the event and we ask that no more than two adults accompany each prospective student.

• 7:00pm

You can book a timed entry via the link on our website one week before the event (29th June 2026)

We anticipate that the presentation will last for approximately 25 minutes. Depending on the presentation time slot you book, you will be able to tour the school and meet departments before or after the presentation.

The evening will end following this presentation. Departments and buildings will close at 7.30pm.
