King Cake Ice Cream makes a comeback to all retail locations of The Hop on Sunday, February 15! And this time there will be a dairy and vegan version! As always we will time the release so that it takes place during the Asheville Mardi Gras Parade :) For full details about this year's Asheville Mardi Gras celebration and to join the fun, visit https://www.ashevillemardigras.org/.
The dairy ice cream contains crumbles of Hop-made king cake baked at The Creamery, a cream cheese frosting swirl, cinnamon, pure Madagascar vanilla, green, yellow, and purple sprinkles. Ashley has described the flavor as a cinnamon roll and a cheesecake smashed together.
For the vegan version we are excited to collaborate with Dough House in Black Mountain!
