Get ready for a delectable journey as The Festie Besties proudly present the 2nd Annual King Cake Crawl, a delightful King Cake tasting event that will take participants on a sweet ride across Shreveport and Bossier City! On Saturday, January 24, 2026, join fellow foodies for an unforgettable experience that celebrates the beloved tradition of King Cake in style!

The King Cake Crawl invites attendees to hop aboard a festive trolley and embark on a culinary adventure, sampling delicious King Cakes and Carnival inspired beverages. Whether you're a longtime fan of this seasonal treat or a curious newcomer, this event is perfect for anyone looking to indulge their taste buds!

When: Saturday, January 24, 2026

Times: Round 2: 12:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Starting Location: Flying Heart Brewing and Pub (700 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City, LA)

Tickets: $65.00 (includes trolley ride, samples at each location, and a souvenir bead and sticker)

What to Expect: Delicious King Cake samples, themed beverages, fun activities, and festive company!

Attendees will enjoy the convienence of a guided trolley tour, allowing them to relax an savor each stop without the hassle of transportation. Along the way, participants will be able to play trivia to win fun festive goodies!

This year’s King Cake Crawl will have six stops total, beginning at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub in Bossier City to taste their King Cake Stromboli, King Cake Cold Brew Coffee, and King Cake Martini (all special menu items during the Mardi Gras season only), then visiting Lilah’s Bakery for shopping, a King Cake charcuterie, and a King Cake flight to take home. At Lowder Baking Company guests will try the Berry Chantilly King Cake then visit the new Dripp Donuts location to taste their signature style King Cake. While visiting the Krewe of Gemini Den Mardi Gras Museum, guests will enjoy Fat Tuesday Sandwich Shop and Bakery’s King Cake and Noble Savage’s King Cake Daiquiris while learning about the Krewe’s history. Then guests will receive the royal treatment at Tubbs Hardware and Cajun Gifts for more King Cake and shopping. This year ensures that the attendees' experience is packed with more local flavors and fun!
