Join us for our Kindergarten Kick-Off Carnival on Saturday, March 1st from 8:30am-12:30pm! This event is a very important (and very popular) part of getting your child ready for the upcoming school year, and we strongly encourage both you and your future PCSD Kindergartener to attend. *Your child will enjoy real carnival games and prizes, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon animals, a bus ride, inflatable putt putt, make and take crafts and treats galore! (see attached invitation).
Here’s what you can expect (besides the carnival itself):
Hearing and vision screenings will be administered by our nursing department
Meet Your Teacher and Principal: Get to know your child’s kindergarten teacher and principal and ask any questions you may have.
Bussing Information: Learn about bus routes and schedules to help you plan your child’s daily commute.
School Supply Lists: Receive a list of supplies your child will need for the year ahead.
Breakfast and Lunch Options: Find out about meal choices for your child, including breakfast and lunch programs.
Before and After School Care: Information about our extended day care services will be available.
