The classes are designed homeschoolers, age 5-7 (grades K-2)About the curriculum:
The children create works of art exploring various mediums using famous artists, literature, music and science as inspiration for projects. They practice using their fine motor skills while experimenting with various mediums. Lessons incorporate color, form, line, shape, space and texture. Most importantly, the children have fun creating and expressing themselves through art.
Registration is required by Friday, February 21st, 2025.
Minimum class is 2, maximum is 8.
We will meet for 4 weeks on Mondays:
2/24, 3/3, 3/17 and 3/24. No class on March 10th.
Time: 1pm - 2 pm.
Tuition is $100 for the 4-class session. Discounts are available if you have more than one child enrolled in the classes. Please

If you are new and I haven't taught your child yet, please email me at [email protected] and let me know your child's name, age and grade.
These classes will take place at Calvary Episcopal Church, Weber Hall, 11 West 2nd Street. Parking is across the street. For safety purposes, children need to be dropped off at the classroom door. Parents are welcome to stay either in the class or across the hall.
Class policies: We understand that scheduling conflicts do happen. You may cancel your session registration for a full refund up to 48 hours before the session begins by phone or messaging. No refunds will be issued after this time.
If you know BEFORE the session begins that you will be missing a class, please contact me and I will deduct that amount from the cost of the session. However, once the session begins, I cannot reimburse you for an absence. If possible, I will provide you with the lesson plan that your child has missed so you can do the lesson with your child at home.
Miss Laura’s philosophy of teaching is encouraging self-expression in art, building up the child’s self-esteem, confidence, and taking pride in the work they create.
About the instructor:
Laura Corebello is an artist and a licensed art teacher who has taught art in the public schools of New Jersey and Virginia for 30 years. She has written curriculums for NJ and VA private and public schools.
