The Kimberley Chamber Collective is proud to present the Kimberley Defence Industry Forum, hosted by the Broome Chamber on Thursday 12 November 2026.
This forum will bring together industry, government, local and regional businesses to strengthen the Kimberley’s role in Australia’s northern defence and surveillance landscape, create pathways for local participation, and position the region for long-term economic and strategic opportunity. Importantly, this forum is also a collective advocacy platform.
At a time when the Indo-Pacific is becoming more contested, Australia cannot rely solely on southern or centralised Defence capability. A visible, operational presence in the North including in the Kimberley is essential.
Together, we will drive a clear and coordinated message to State and Federal Government on the critical investments needed to unlock the Kimberley’s defence potential.
The formal forum will be followed by a networking sundowner from 4:30pm – 7:00pm, creating an opportunity to connect, collaborate and build partnerships across industry and government.
