After climbing peaks on all seven continents, Kim Hood was looking for a new adventure. He was drawn to the idea of pilgrimage. In The Accidental Sadhu he shares stories and insights of the Char Dham in India, Mt Kailash in Tibet, and the Camino de Santiago in France and Spain. These experiences changed his life and opened his heart.

Local author, Kim Hood, is an unusual combination of fine art photographer, mountain climber, outdoor guide, and writer. He holds a BFA in fine art from the University of Washington and a certificate in fine art photography from the Photographic Center Northwest. His passion for travel and exploration have driven him to climb, trek and pilgrimage around the world.
