About this Event

What to expect:

Our sessions feature a varied selection of poses, usually starting at around 5 minutes and building up to longer poses of approximately 20 minutes.

Sessions are untutored, giving you the freedom to work in your own way and at your own pace, but I’m always on hand if you’d like some tips or guidance.

Beginners are very welcome! You absolutely do not need any previous life drawing experience.

Materials

Bring your own favourite drawing materials, or pick up what you need from us at cost price.

We usually have paper, charcoal, pencils, erasers, colourful chalk pastels, drawing boards, clips and fixative available.

Drinks and snacks are available from the bar downstairs and you're very welcome to bring them upstairs to help the creative process!

The KLD community

KLD is as much about the people as it is about the drawing. We’re a super warm and friendly group with good vibes only, and we usually head downstairs after the session for drinks and chats. Everyone is welcome to join us.

We also have a WhatsApp group for session news and general drawing chat. Just ask if you'd like to join.

Our models ❤️

Our models are our muses and are treated with respect at all times.

Photography of your artwork and the session is welcome, but never while the model is in pose.

There is also an optional model tip jar if you'd like to show our brilliant muses a little extra appreciation. Cash tips are always very gratefully received.

Loyalty card

Come to 6 sessions and get your 7th session free!

Come along, make some drawings, have a drink and spend a couple of creative hours with a genuinely lovely bunch of humans.

See you Tuesday!
