KIERSTEN'S RIDE SUICIDE PREVENTION CONFERENCE 2026
Kiersten’s Ride is excited to bring this suicide prevention conference to Northern Lower Michigan. It will be October 6th – 8th, 2026 at Castle Farms, 5052 M-66, Charlevoix, MI.
This in-person learning opportunity will focus on providers of suicide prevention across the Midwest, from coalitions and organizations dedicated to preventing suicide and promoting mental health wellness, prevention professionals, healthcare professionals, veteran-serving organizations, community leaders, and others dedicated to community solutions to address suicide as a public health need.
There are two different tracks that cannot be combined:
- A 2-Day Community Track with sessions led by industry experts, helpful to anyone who seeks knowledge on suicide prevention.
- A 3-Day Professional track with a deep dive into Acceptance & Commitment Therapy led by renowned Dr Robyn Walser.
We will start together on Tuesday, October 6th for our Opening Keynote Speaker, Dr Tony Thrasher. At the conclusion of the keynote, participants will follow the selected track. The education times for each day and track are as follows:
COMMUNITY TRACK
Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

PROFESSIONAL TRACK – ACCEPTANCE & COMMITMENT THERAPY (ACT)

Thursday, October 8, 2026, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)
* Applications for the following CEUs have been applied for; as they are approved, the Kiersten's Ride website will be updated accordingly: Nurses, Social Workers, Community Health Workers, Addiction Professionals (MCBAP), Public Health, SCECHs, and MIPEERS.
HOUSEKEEPING
Please note that due to the difficulty of moderating meeting room temperature to everyone's satisfaction, we recommend that you wear layered clothing to best meet your comfort needs.
All materials and meals will be provided. IF you have specific dietary requirements, please bring your own meals and snacks.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If cancellation is received by Kiersten's Ride via email/phone by August 31st, 2026, the course fee will be refunded, minus processing fee.
If cancellation is received by Kiersten's Ride via email/phone BETWEEN August 31st, 2026 AND September 22nd, 2026, the 50% of the course fee will be refunded, minus processing fee.
If cancellation is received by Kiersten's Ride via email/phone AFTER September 22nd, 2026, or there is a NO-SHOW for the event, NO REFUND will be issued.
