Bombs Away! Comedy and Commonwealth Sanctuary are proud to present the Crosstown Comedy Festival, a comedy contest and celebration of the best comedians from Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, and across the country to compete to win the Festival. Join us each week on Thursdays at Commonwealth Sanctuary and Saturdays at Bombs Away! Comedy @ The Comet as we laugh and celebrate local comedy.
Kieron Harrell is a Chicago comedian who was born and raised in Ohio, but like anyone trying to succeed in life, he first had to leave Ohio. Known for his infectious high energy, paired with his deeply personal jokes, Kieron has been captivating audiences across the country! He shares stories that range from flirting with the unhoused community, his ex trying to sue him, raising foster children, and why he is bad at bartering.
Kieron’s career is rising quick. He recently recorded a mini special for OFTV at the historic Den Theater in Chicago. He’s also a paid regular at The Laugh Factory Chicago. Kieron has performed at legendary venues such as The Comedy Store, Comedy on State, The Bend Theater, The Geyer Theater, The Second City, and has headlined Don’t Tell Comedy shows all across America. His openness on stage has gained him millions of views across his social media platforms, and his quick wit during his spouts of intricate crowd work makes every seat in the house, the best seat!
Commonwealth Comedy Club (formerly Commonwealth Sanctuary) is Cincinnati’s home for exquisitely curated live entertainment. Each week we bring you hilarious stand-up comedians, intimate concerts, unique theater productions, live podcast recordings, and so much more.
Commonwealth Comedy Club is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews.
We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as many canned drinks, including cocktails. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as well as a complete broadcast-quality video system for recording events and live podcasts. We are exclusively partnered with Third Rule Media to produce our recorded content.
