Calling all parents of young explorers aged 8 to 14! Join us for a fun and uplifting Kid's Mindfulness Workshop on Sunday, July 28th, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the beautiful Aztec Park in La Mesa. This engaging workshop is designed to introduce children to the wonderful world of mindfulness while providing them with valuable tools for self-care and emotional well-being.

During this interactive session, your child will embark on a journey of self-discovery and emotional awareness. Our experienced facilitator will guide them through a variety of mindfulness exercises, teaching them techniques to enhance focus, manage emotions, and cultivate a sense of inner calm.

But that's not all! Our workshop also includes exciting activities that will engage your child's creativity and promote holistic well-being. They will have the opportunity to create their own crystal bracelet, harnessing the positive energy of crystals to support their emotional balance and self-expression.

Additionally, we will explore the power of sound healing, using gentle and soothing sounds to create a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere. Your child will learn how sound vibrations can positively impact their emotions and overall well-being.

To further enhance their mind-body connection, we will also introduce your child to the benefits of kids yoga and somatic movement. Through playful and age-appropriate exercises, they will discover the joy of movement, fostering body awareness, flexibility, and coordination.

Parents, we kindly ask that you stay with your child throughout the entire session to ensure their safety and provide supervision. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to bond with your child and experience mindfulness together.

What to bring to the event:

Water bottle and snack

Pillow for under head/neck

Pillow for under knees if needed

Blanket

Wear comfortable clothing

Yoga mats will be provided but please feel free to bring your own to use if more comfortable for you.
