- Latching Techniques: Explore proper latching techniques and positions. Understand how to achieve a deep latch to ensure effective milk transfer and prevent discomfort for both lactating parent and baby.
- Feeding Cues and Timing: Recognize the early feeding cues of your newborn and understand the importance of feeding on demand in establishing a healthy chest/breastfeeding relationship.
- Overcoming Challenges: Equip yourself with strategies to overcome common chest/breastfeeding challenges such as engorgement, nipple soreness, and latch difficulties. Learn when and how to seek help from a lactation consultant or healthcare provider.
- Supplementation: Learn how, when, and why you may need to supplement if you are experiencing chest/breastfeeding challenges.
- Partner Involvement: Discover the crucial role partners play in supporting chest/breastfeeding parents. Learn how partners can provide practical assistance, emotional support, and encouragement throughout the chest/breastfeeding journey.
