Young anglers, it’s time to cast a line! 🎣 The Kidz Fishin’ Derby returns to Holland Lake (1419 Holland Lake Dr) on April 4 for a morning of fishing, friendly competition, and plenty of outdoor fun.Kids 2 - 15 are invited to join us at the lake to see what they can reel in. Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, and we’ll have the bait ready for you! It’s a great chance to learn a few tips, enjoy time by the water, and compete for some awesome prizes. Best of all—it’s completely free to participate.

SCHEDULE
Registration: Starts at 7:30 AM and remains open during the tournament
Tournament Hours: 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Awards: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Each participant must be registered into the tournament to participate.
2. Each participant can only register in 1 age category.
3. All fish caught within the ages of 6-15 can only be reeled in and caught by that participant, if an adult is seen aiding a child within this age category the fish caught will not be valid.
4. Adults assisting participants may not fish on behalf of the child. The child must be actively participating in every process of the catch.
5. No one is allowed to cast before the 8:30am cast-off, if caught casting beforehand you will be disqualified.
6. No fish caught after the 11am end time will be valid for entry.
7. Fishing tournament times 8:30am-11am.
8. All participants must be present to win.
9. All state and local guidelines that pertain to fishing still apply during this even.
10. Adults, please remember that this is a youth tournament, and we ask that you refrain from fishing during the tournament time.
11. This is a family friendly event, and we ask that everyone behaves accordingly with the respect that this is a youth event, staff and organizers have the right to disqualify participants that are not following the rules set for the tournament.
