Kidsburgh - Join us for Lunch & Pitch Your Story Idea!

Tell us your story! At Kidsburgh, we are looking for story ideas that would appeal to parents and caregivers with information to help them, inspire them or teach them something about the good things in our region for kids and families.

For this pitch session, we're inviting you to meet us in-person! Enjoy lunch with us and share your story ideas at Saturday Light Brigade, located in the lower level of the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. Each organization will have approximately 2 minutes to pitch their ideas to the Kidsburgh editorial team comprised of our Executive Editor Melissa Rayworth (Kidsburgh), Kristine Sorensen (KDKA TV), and Larry Berger and Alexa Bocek (Saturday Light Brigade). This event is limited to 25 pitches.

When pitching, here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Explain why this would be a good story for families and youth.
• What is the time frame?
• Is there a particularly timely hook?
• Who would be a good interview?
• What kind of video do you have to share if it is a TV story?
