Kids Yoga with Suni!

Get ready to stretch, move, and have fun! This playful yoga class for kids (K–6th grade) combines animal-inspired poses and movement games that build strength, balance, agility, stamina, and flexibility. Through breathing exercises, mindfulness, meditation, and kindness practices, children learn to relax, focus, and feel great—inside and out!

Important to Note: This is class is intended for those in Kindergarten - 6th grade. A parent or guardian must sign a waiver prior to the class.

About the Facilitator:

Suni has been practicing yoga under the guidance of Shashi Pottathil for more than17 years and received her Yoga Alliance training and certification from him in 2021(RYT 200).

Suni brings her passion for yoga and children to the practice and has a deeply held conviction in the limitless power of yoga to change bodies, minds, and lives ~ especially those young lives of our little yogis!

She has devoted her time to teaching yoga and meditation to children in public elementary schools across San Diego County. Passionate about making yoga accessible, she organized and collaborated with fellow instructors to introduce these practices into schools—receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from students and educators alike. Her efforts have been entirely volunteer-driven, fueled by her love for children and yoga.
