At Kula Yoga Kids Day Camps, (ages 5-11), we host a variety of fun activities to teach our children how to practice yoga both on and off our mats. The kids yoga classes integrate fun and practice inviting kids participation. Our qualified Kula Yoga Kids instructors will take the kids through a series of yoga poses all the while teaching them to connect with their own inner guidance. This is done through yoga postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation practices.
In the day camp setting, you can expect your child(ren) to be cared for by Kula Yoga Kids trained teachers / camp counselors. The little yogis & yoginis will have time for play, time for a snack and/or lunch, time for a kids yoga class, yoga based games, music, and meditation. The children are also provided with blank paper & coloring pencils/crayons along with coloring mandalas in between group activities. For our more advanced little yogis, we will also workshop some more advanced postures for those kids wanting to advance their yoga practice. One whole food fruit/veggie snack will be provided. Kids need to bring their lunch. We look forward to the opportunity to share yoga with your family.
