We are a small group of families trying to find ways to get our kiddos involved in the community. This event will benefit The Sandwich Project, where you can join us on the day of, donate items prior to the event, or research ways to help out this amazing Non-Profit Organization at https://www.thesandwichproject.org/On Feb 20th, we will be open in the Community Room of the Hickory Flat Library from 11am - 4pm. If you bring items day of the event to help, you will be using the items you brought to help make your Sandwiches. How cool to see the start - finish (almost!) process. If you are not bringing any items to donate day, no worries we will have some previously collected.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED
- Become a Sandwich Maker day of:
-Donate supplies needed to help reach our Sandwich Goal!
Join us in putting together and packaging our Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches! Due to the dexterity needed to fully spread are PB & J, making sandwiches is better for 5years+, but you know your child best. For our 5 and under (and anyone else!), you can get involved by donating supplies before or day of the event and by making and decorating cards to go with our delivery.
Food with an EXPIRATION DATE AFTER 2/28/26:
-Any brand of: Peanut Butter, Jelly (has to be a jelly, any flavor), White Bread
Supplies Needed:
-Sandwich Ziplocs, Gloves ( SM, M Sizes), Hairnets, disposable aprons
PLEASE USE ITEMS YOU WOULD USE FOR YOUR OWN FAMILY.
