Get ready to spin! This 3-day pottery wheel camp is perfect for kids who want to focus entirely on learning and practicing the pottery wheel. Campers will build confidence at the wheel while creating multiple functional clay pieces from start to finish.
Campers will learn:
All 3 days of wheel throwing with hands-on instruction
How to center clay, pull walls, and shape forms
Techniques for trimming and refining pieces
The basics of glazing and surface design
This camp is great for both beginners and kids with some clay experience. Our instructors provide step-by-step guidance in a fun, encouraging environment while allowing plenty of time for practice and creativity.
🧒 Ages: 7 and up
🗓 Dates: Tuesday–Thursday
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🏺 Firing & Glazing: All pieces will be fired and glazed by our staff
📦 Pickup: Finished pieces will be ready two week after camp
No experience needed—just curiosity, patience, and a willingness to get muddy!
