Join Flint Hills educators for an immersive experience into Stream Science! We will walk from the Discovery Center to Fairmont Park to get in the stream and learn why they play an important role in the Flint Hills and enjoy time in the water. Pick-up is at the Discovery Center.
This event will be held as long as the weather is deemed safe. Please wear good walking shoes that can get dirty and possibly wet, and appropriate clothing for outdoors (which includes sitting on hay bales). Please send your youth with a reusable water bottle.
Cost is $10 for FHDC members and $15 for non-members. This program is intended for ages 6-12.
Pre-registration is required by Sunday, June 16 at 5 p.m. online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Discovery Center.
