We're off to Pioneer Bluffs in Matfield Green for a day of ranching, cowboys, history, and fun! We will experience a journey through history as we tour the grounds. We will walk-through the ranching life of years past as we explore the historic buildings still standing after many generations, Crocker Creek, and the Abraham Lincoln Tree! While on the ranch, we will enjoy our sack lunches and get some time to stretch our legs before heading back to the Discovery Center.
Registration fee includes round trip travel in our 15 passenger vans. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle. Clothes that are appropriate for outdoors and walking on trails are suggested.
Tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 8:30 a.m. and returns no later than 4 p.m.
This program is for ages 8-17.
