Kids Summer Floral Creative Series

Looking for a fun, hands-on activity this summer? Join us at Flower & Twine for our Summer Creative Series, where young designers will explore the art of flowers while creating beautiful projects to take home!
Designed for ages 6+, these engaging classes are perfect for creative kids who love to make, build, and explore. Whether your child joins us for one session or all three, they'll learn new skills, make new friends, and leave with a floral creation they're proud of.
This is a 50-minute experience.
Each class is a standalone experience—register for one, two, or all three sessions!
Session 1 • July 22
Floral Arrangement Workshop 🌼
Students will discover the basics of floral design while creating their own fresh flower arrangement.
Using a colorful assortment of seasonal blooms, child-safe vases, decorative gems, and ribbons, each child will design a unique arrangement to proudly take home.
Session 2 • July 29
Patriotic Carnation Bear
Inspired by the iconic Ralph Lauren Bear and America's 250th Anniversary, students will create an adorable teddy bear entirely from fresh white and red carnations.
Once assembled, they'll add blue floral color accents to create a festive patriotic centerpiece that's as fun to make as it is to display.
Session 3 • Aug 5
Floral "Skin" ✨
Let creativity bloom! Students will use fresh flowers to create a “floral skin,” a fun, new way to wear flowers! The “skin” can be worn on an arm or leg. This imaginative project introduces floral design techniques while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

✔ No experience necessary
✔ Children should wear clothes they don't mind getting a little dirty while creating
✔ Drop-off, or parents are welcome to stay
✔ Every child takes home their completed floral creation
Meet the Instructor
Hi! I'm Bryan, and I'm so excited to lead this year's Summer Creative Series!
By day, I'm a kindergarten teacher, and helping children learn through creativity is one of my greatest passions. I've loved working with flowers since I was young, spending countless hours picking blooms from my grandparents' garden and creating arrangements.
Over the past several years, floral design has grown from a hobby into a passion as I've designed flowers for weddings, special events, and community celebrations alongside Flower & Twine.
My goal is to create a fun, encouraging environment where every child feels successful, learns something new, and leaves inspired. I can't wait to create with you this summer!
