Kid's Spring Garden

Kid's Spring Garden is a fun-filled event for children to explore the wonders of nature and gardening. Join us at Woodrow Lane for a day of planting, learning, and outdoor activities. Kids will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty while planting seeds, watering plants, and learning about the importance of taking care of our environment. Let your little ones connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of spring at this exciting event!

Starting seeds and transplanting flowers, fruits, veggies and herbs. Take home your own transplant or choose another item. Lunch will not be provided, we will provide snacks, water and fresh herbal tea sweetened with organic local honey and lemons.

Flowers, herbs and vegetables: foxglove, lettuce, basil, lemon balm, lemon mint, dill, marigolds, tomatoes, peppers and more.

Gardening, in general, has been shown to have numerous mental health benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety, and nurturing seedlings can be a fun and creative way to experience these positive effects.

It offers the chance to learn about gardening, plant life cycles, and the importance of environmental stewardship.

Join us for a hands-on way to teach valuable lessons about responsibility, patience, and the wonders of the natural world.
