Kid’s “Splash and Dash” Event at Westminster Municipal Pool
Join us for an exhilarating morning of fun and fitness at the newly renovated Westminster Municipal Pool! Dive into excitement with our "Splash and Dash" event, designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. Here's everything you need to know:
Event Details:
Date: July 19, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Westminster Municipal Pool, 325 Royer Road
Participant Benefits:
- All participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal to celebrate their achievement.
- Post-race refreshments, including water to keep you hydrated and energized.
- Splash Dance Party - after the race is over get ready to groove, where you can boogie down and celebrate your accomplishments with friends and family.
Cost:
- City Residents or Westminster Municipal Pool Members: $12 per person
- Non-Residents/Non-Members: $19 per person
Race Heats:
Heat 1: 225m swim + 1 mile run/walk
- Suggested for ages 13 and up, as well as competitive swimmers.
Heat 2: 125m swim + 1 mile run/walk
- Suggested for ages 13 and up who are non-competitive swimmers, and competitive swimmers aged 12 and under.
Heat 3: 25m swim + 1 mile run/walk
- Suitable for participants of all ages and skill levels.
What to Bring:
- Don't forget to pack a towel to dry off after your swim and sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's rays.
