Get creative this winter break and learn how to make your very own sterling silver rings—perfect to wear, gift, or swap with friends! In this hands-on kids-only class, you’ll learn the basics of soldering in a fun and beginner-friendly environment designed just for makers ages 12 and up.Students will use a small soldering torch and learn how to size, shape, and add textures to their rings using real jeweler’s tools like ring mandrels, sizers, and texture hammers. By the end of class, each student will head home with brand-new skills and three handcrafted sterling silver rings that make amazing holiday gifts.
All materials are included, and the instructor will have optional add-on supplies available if students want to customize or patina their creations even more.
