Kid Sewing 101Max Students: 5
Ages: 6–13
Class Fee: $25 (2 hours)
Give your young maker a fun and confidence-building start to sewing! In Kid Sewing 101, students will learn the basics of machine sewing while completing a simple beginner project (teacher’s choice: pillowcase, drawstring bag, or similar).
What Kids Will Learn
One of our specialty kids instructors will guide students through:
How to thread the sewing machine
How to wind and load a bobbin
Understanding basic sewing machine parts
Using the stitch selector
Controlling machine speed and stitch length
Building comfort and confidence at the machine
Locations & Times
Palm Coast: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 4:00–6:00 PM
St. Augustine: 4th Thursday of the month, 4:00–6:00 PM
A brief pre-class phone call from the teacher will confirm age range and machine needs.
