Kid's Musical Theatre Dance Workshop with Lauren SawsonA WHITE LAKE YOUTH THEATRE KID FAVORITE!
Saturday, November 16, 10:00 am- 12 pm,
Admission is PAY WHAT YOU CAN, or $20 :) COME ALL!!
Students ages 5-16 will break into smaller groups by age to explore the magic of movement in our enchanting musical theater dance workshop for kids! Creativity will be unleashed through rhythmic expression, as we learn fundamental dance techniques, and set the stage for a dazzling performance. Join us for a toe-tapping, twirl-filled adventure where young performers can dance their way into the spotlight with a final presentation for family and friends at the end of the session around 11:50 a.m.
Taught by Lauren Sawson, local yoga teacher, mama, dance instructor and choreographer, all around amazing lady.
A note to parents/caregivers:
PLEASE FEED STUDENTS WELL PRIOR, TO HELP GIVE THEM ENERGY! Please pack a water bottle (and snacks, if needed.)
Please have students dress comfortably to move and in layers for changing temperatures.
Tell the kids to come ready to make new friends and have a GREAT TIME!
