Kids Mindfulness & Meditation - The Monarch Soul

Welcome to our Mindfulness class for kids! Join us as we teach children the essentials of mindfulness, meditation, EFT (tapping), breathwork, and self-love, all aimed at regulating the nervous system. In this engaging and transformative class, kids will learn valuable techniques to navigate stress and anxiety while fostering a deeper connection with themselves.

About your teacher:

Kristen, a native of San Diego, is a dedicated professional with a lifelong commitment to nurturing and empowering young minds. From her earliest years, Kristen exhibited a natural affinity for childcare, starting with her role as a babysitter at the tender age of nine. Throughout her formative years, she eagerly volunteered at her childhood preschool during breaks, fostering a deep connection with the learning and development of children.

Her passion for teaching blossomed further when she assumed the position of lead teacher at a preschool in Pacific Beach upon reaching legal working age. It was during this time that Kristen's empathy and dedication to supporting children, especially those with special needs, became evident. Her experience as a nanny for a family with four children, including one diagnosed with autism, further fueled her commitment to making a difference in the lives of children facing challenges.

Driven by her desire to expand her knowledge and impact, Kristen pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. As she embarked on her professional journey, Kristen also embraced the joys of motherhood, welcoming her daughter, and subsequently three sons. However, the transition to parenthood brought unexpected challenges as Kristen grappled with unresolved childhood traumas and emotional struggles.

Determined to overcome these obstacles and cultivate a positive environment for her family, Kristen delved into the realm of self-help and healing. Her transformative journey began with Louise Hay's seminal work, "You Can Heal Your Life," igniting a passion for self-love, awareness, and holistic healing practices. Through meditation, visualization, grounding techniques, crystal therapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Kristen embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery and healing.

Kristen then, amplified restoration with breathwork, hypnosis, and sound baths. Through these practices, she found solace in regulating her nervous system and reprogramming her mind.

Kristen's transformative experiences inspired her to pursue certification in mindfulness and meditation, as well as becoming an EFT Practitioner. Currently on the path to becoming a certified hypnotherapist, Kristen is deeply committed to sharing her knowledge and empowering others to unlock their potential for healing and growth.

Kristen is honored to facilitate specialized mindfulness classes tailored for children, offering a unique opportunity for young souls to explore self-awareness and emotional well-being.
