Calling all junior adventurers! 🗺️ As part of Gardens Magic 2025 explore the beautiful Botanic Garden ki Paekākā this summer with Oskar the backpacking tourist as your guide.
Pick up an activity sheet, discover hidden scenes throughout the gardens, and complete the letter to Oskar's mother. Post your completed activity sheet in the letterbox and you could be in to win some amazing prizes! 🏆

Grab Oskar’s activity sheet from the Soundshell, Treehouse Visitor Centre, main entrance, or Cable Car office, or print it out from our website (coming soon).
How it works:
👉 Follow the self-led trail to learn about seeds, plants, and hidden wonders of the garden.
👉 Complete the activities on your sheet.
👉 Drop your completed sheet off at the Soundshell, Treehouse, or main entrance to enter the prize draw.
👉Perfect for tamariki, this is a fun, free way to spend a summer day exploring the great outdoors.
This event is a part of Gardens Magic, set amongst the natural beauty of the Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā, this iconic and very Wellington summer event will paint the gardens with original lighting, activities for the kids, and the vibrant, powerful sounds of our capital’s musicians.
