On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus Council #3394 is hosting a Kids Fishing Derby Competition at Six Mile Waterworks Park, Albany.NY, 12205 (Rensselaer Lake, Entrance at 136 Fuller Road, Albany) from 9 AM - 12 Noon.*It’s a Free Fishing Day in New York State, which means a license isn’t required of any participant or child’s assistant!
The Competition is open to All Children from 4 to 15, Registration is Free and begins at 8 am, Competition is from 9 am to 12 Noon.
Children must be accompanied by a Parent or Responsible Adult and provide their own Fishing Equipment; pole, bait, tackle and supervision!
Prizes will be awarded in each age category.
** The Knights of Columbus are requesting donations of Canned goods or Non-Perishable Items for the St. Ambrose Food Pantry.
