Kids Event: Bee a Pollinator! An Interactive Garden Adventure - Novato

Kids become bees, butterflies, and learn about pollinator plants through fun games and creating an optional pollinator container garden.

This interactive event is designed for children. Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany their child, but please register only the participating child. Adults do not need to register.

Calling all young nature lovers! Join Trevor for a fun, interactive adventure where kids will discover the amazing world of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other important pollinators.

Using colorful flower and pollinator cutouts, children will become flowers and pollinators as they learn how color, shape, size, and nectar help pollinators find their favorite blooms. Through games, movement, and hands-on activities, they'll discover why pollinators are essential to healthy gardens and how every flower plays an important role.

Following the demonstration, families are invited to continue the fun by creating their own pollinator container garden. Trevor will help children select pollinator-friendly plants and design a colorful container to take home.
