• Creative Spark: Children engage in nature storytelling, making butterfly wings, and crafting spring wreaths.
• Sensory Connection: The gardens offer a "feast" of experiences, from plant yoga and "nature music" to the quiet, indoor/outdoor sensory relaxation corners.
• Practical Skills: Kids get their hands dirty with real-world gardening, meeting the head gardener, building "megatropolis" bug hotels, and creating takeaway herbal gardens.

Planned ActivitiesThe camps focus on inclusive learning, sensory experiences, and nature-based fun, including:

• Easter Themes: Egg hunts, egg-themed crafting, and spring wreath making.
• Gardening & Wildlife: Meeting the head gardener, touring polytunnels, feeding terrapins, and building "megatropolis" bug hotels.
• Take-Home Projects: Making spring herbal gardens and rewilding seed bombs.
• Creativity & Wellness: Nature storytelling, music-making sessions, nature/plant yoga, and making butterfly/bug wings.
• Nature Exploration: Scavenger hunts, woodland walks, and bug identification.

While we recommend three days for a full experience, even a single day at our nature camp offers a powerful "green boost" for your child.In just one day, they will:

• Reset & Recharge: A few hours in the fresh air of the Festina Lente Walled Gardens is enough to noticeably lower stress and improve mood.
• Spark Curiosity: Between meeting the terrapins and exploring the polytunnels, your child will come home with new stories and a fresh interest in the world around them.

Practical Information for Parents

• What to Bring: Children should bring a packed lunch and are welcome to bring a favourite Easter book to share.
• Attire: Easter-themed outfits are encouraged.
• Environment: The camp features a sensory relaxation corner with both indoor and outdoor comfort areas to suit different learning styles and needs.

When you sign your kids up for nature camp, they gain more than just a fun day out—they get a boost for their overall well-being:

While each day is uniquely varied to include 5 daily nature connections, you can expect the following daily flow:

• 10:00 AM – Welcome & Garden Exploration: Arrival at the Education Cabin followed by nature warm-ups and plant yoga.
• 10:30 AM – Morning Activity: Hands-on projects like building "megatropolis" bug hotels, making butterfly baths, or spring wreath crafting.
• 11:30 AM – Discovery Tour: Meeting the head gardener, touring polytunnels, or feeding the resident terrapins.
• 12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch & Storytelling: Children enjoy their packed lunches followed by nature-themed storytelling in the garden den.
• 1:30 PM – Creative Workshop: Practical sessions such as making rewilding seed bombs or creating spring herbal gardens to take home.
• 2:30 PM – Woodland Adventure: Scavenger hunts and nature music-making sessions before wrap-up.
