Kids Club
About this Event
Sit Happens Dog Training & Behavior, LLC & the Your Family Dog Podcast are joining up to bring your family Kids Club! This event is for the whole family to help make relationships between kids and dogs (even if your family doesn't have one) safer and more fun. Kids between PreK and up are invited (and must be accompanied by an adult or guardian - pesky insurance). There will be no live dogs at this event.
FAQ
- Teaching Safety without Fear We can teach kids through games and activities with stuffed dogs long before they come into contact with real dogs. This way fearful kiddos have a safe way to practice the skills so you can support them at home.
- Training - Teaching kids about how to teach dogs the things they want them to know... like helping with jumping up, or playing hide and go seek. Fun, safe training games.
- Enrichment - Ways to help foster happy, healthy, respectful, kind relationships. Learning how dogs signal and how to communicate in ways that build confidence.
