Uh oh, the Kids Club has been stung by the Kindness Bee! 🐝 At this edition of the Pennies for Pennyville Kids Club, kiddos will make pollinator packs to share with their Park Ridge neighbors. Our evening will include:
- Decorating pollinator pack envelopes
- Scooping wildflower seeds
- Creating Kindness Bee gift tags to share with neighbors
- Combining everything together into Kindness Bee packs!
Kids ages 5+ are invited and each participant will go home with 11 Kindness Bee packs - 1 to keep and 10 to deliver to neighbors. Each pack will include:
(1) Pack of wildflower seeds
(1) Kindness Bee poem/instructions
(1) Yellow kindness tree ribbon to help the community see the network of Pennies Kids Club kindness around town!
Reserve a spot for you and your kiddos! We ask for a nominal donation per participant to help Pennies provide for families in need in our community. Additional donations help us to fund even more philanthropic initiatives around Park Ridge.
Remember: This is not a drop-off event. Parents must stay on site with children, and parent support is required to keep kids on task and respect the space we're utilizing.
Please note: Participants will be handling a variety of wildflower seeds, so please be cognizant of any family allergies that may be aggravated by this task.
