We Are All Creative – Just for Kids! with Jen Myhre
Ages 6-8 years old
July 6-9, 2026 | Monday – Thursday| 1:00 – 4:00 pm
***All art materials are provided.
No experience is necessary – just the student’s willingness to make art every day
Kids will learn and have fun exploring creative tools and techniques we can use at home with commonly found materials, with a lot of support and an embrace of experimentation and mistakes. We don’t need to want to be an artist to make things with our hands and have the joy of creativity in our daily lives. In this camp, we’ll learn how to make interesting textures through mark-making and repetition, how to make and use stencils, the basics of printmaking including making our own stamps and monoprints, and strategies for making collage. Throughout we’ll analyze and practice basic composition principles and develop our storytelling and meaning making skills. Each student will leave with a fun body of work.
