About this Event

Kids Breathwork | Ages 5–10 + Parent
Big feelings happen. Learning what to do with them is a skill.

Join Hunkapi Programs for a fun, interactive breathwork class designed specifically for children. Through simple breathing exercises, movement, conversation, and connection with our horses, kids will learn how their breath can help them slow down, feel more grounded, and navigate tough emotions.

Children will explore how our bodies respond when we feel angry, worried, frustrated, overwhelmed, or excited—and discover simple tools they can use when those feelings become BIG.

Kids Will Learn:
  • Simple breathing techniques they can use anywhere
  • How breathing can help calm the body and regulate emotions
  • How to recognize what is happening in their body when emotions get big
  • Fun ways to practice slowing down and finding their center
  • How to build confidence in handling difficult feelings
  • How horses and mindfulness can help us become more aware of ourselves

This isn't about sitting still and being quiet. It's about learning how to use something we always have with us—our breath—to feel more in control of our bodies and emotions.
