About this Event

Discover the beauty of plants, flowers, and insects through observation, discussion, and painting! We will head over to our outdoor art room to take a look at the items we collected to explore through painting. The workshop will end with everyone taking home a botanical watercolor painting!

We will provide all the materials needed:

~ Selection of fascinating flowers, foliage, and foraged treasures to paint.

~ Watercolor paper, paints, and brushes

~ Nitrile gloves- unless you like having colorful fingers

Painting is a great observational and kinetic way to learn! It allows you to visually explore the intricacies of small items in a crerative way.

We recommend the following items:

~ Comfortable, closed toe shoes

~ Garden apron, smock, or old clothing

~ Sunhat and/or sunglasses (if you are sensitive)

~ Garden gloves (we provide disposable nitrile gloves)

This is a hands-on, rain or shine event. Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations within 5 days of event.
