This is a fantastic opportunity to get your kids (ages 5 and up) beach ready before summer kicks in!——
The “Beach Ed” programme includes clubhouse, beach and water activities. Students use critical thinking in order to learn life-saving knowledge; including how to identify and escape from rip currents and how to practice safe, fun ocean activities.
Beach Ed is a full-day interactive course taught at select beaches across the country, delivered in a controlled and safe manner. All of our instructors are fully qualified Surf Lifeguards who have also completed a course on safeguarding children.

Numbers are limited to 30 kids and even though this is a few months away, SLSNZ would like to know our numbers asap so they can ensure staff are allocated.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Sharalyn Fraser (Real Estate Agent) the cost per child will be greatly reduced (less than $10 per child if we get 30 kids).
Get in quick as we have already had some registrations via our website.

We will need a ratio of 1 parent to five kids, and supervising parents will need to be prepared to go in the water on the day.
The event runs rain or shine and they have a wet-weather Programme if needed on the day.
