This summer holiday, the Fitzrovia Chapel will be transformed into the Fitzrovia Toy Hospital, reflecting the building's history as chapel to the former Middlesex Hospital.
Children are welcome to attend individual sessions, or all three workshops as a series. If attending multiple sessions, you can bring the toy back to keep caring for them.
Workshop 1: The Admissions Ward, Monday 27 July
Select a toy from the "waiting room", give it a diagnosis, make bandages and slings, draw an x ray and complete a patient record card.
Workshop 2: Toy Surgery, Monday 03 August
Select a patient, or bring your poorly toy from last time. We will then be making care patches and felt plasters to glue on as well stitching up some wounds!
Workshop 3: Wellbeing Clinic, Monday 18 August
Select your poorly toy and prepare them for discharge from hospital, by spraying scents, making comfort items and completing a special patient discharge certificate.
The Fitzrovia Chapel is wheelchair accessible. For accessibility needs please email [email protected]
