Our Kidpreneur Lab is an interactive, high-energy business workshop designed to empower young innovators ages 9–13 to turn big ideas into real businesses.
Hosted by the City of Anderson, this hands-on experience walks students step-by-step through the entrepreneurial process—from brainstorming and branding to pricing and pitching. In just one day, participants will develop a business idea, create a brand identity, determine pricing, and build the confidence to present their concept like a true CEO.
The workshop will take place on March 13th from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Following the lab, participants will have the exciting opportunity to sell their products at Soirée’s Kids Kingdom on April 25th from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, gaining real-world marketplace experience in the heart of downtown.
During this immersive lab experience, participants will:
Brainstorm and refine a business idea
Identify their target customer
Create a business name and brand concept
Develop simple pricing strategies
Craft and practice a mini pitch
Receive professional headshots to use for marketing
Gain real-world entrepreneurial skills in a fun, supportive environment
By the end of the program, each student will walk away with a fully developed business concept and the opportunity to take it one step further. Kidpreneurs can showcase and sell their products in Kids Kingdom at the Soirée on April 25th from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, allowing them to test their ideas, engage customers, and experience the excitement of running a business in a live event setting.
