Produced by Cate Le Bon, the album was recorded during the dead of a Chicago winter, channeling its stark stillness into a collection of minimalist, experimental pop songs. Expanding beyond their guitar-bass-drums foundation with violins, synths, and unconventional instrumentation, the band explores the power of restraint while keeping melody at the core.Since their 2022 debut, the triobest friends whose chemistry remains their defining forcehave relocated to New York and grown both musically and personally. Yet the album remains rooted in Chicagos DIY spirit, capturing scenes of youth, friendship, and quiet introspection with striking honesty.
