Kick Off Santa Cruz
Scotts Valley Recreation and Santa Cruz County Parks are teaming up for a fun-filled weekend celebrating the excitement and global spirit of World Cup soccer!
Register your team for a multi-generational Round Robin Wacky Tournament designed to bring youth and adults together for laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition.
What makes it WACKY?
Each mini game will feature a fun twist on traditional soccer — think giant soccer balls, silly challenges, themed play, and more! Winning is about more than the final score. Creativity, sportsmanship, team spirit, and participation in skill challenges will all count toward the fun.
Team Requirements:
Minimum 4 players / Maximum 6 players per team
At least half of each team must be youth ages 8–17
Day Format:
Each team will play (3) 15-minute round robin games and have the chance to earn extra points in a fun, no-pressure skills contest area.
Prizes will be awarded in a variety of fun categories — not just for the scoreboard! Yes there will be prizes, so you want to stay to the end!
Themed team jerseys or outfits are highly encouraged (and extra points given). Fun activities, booths, games, and plenty of family fun will be happening throughout the day. The best day for soccer lovers!
