The 4th Annual Kick Kancer Block Party: "Get That C Out Of Here!" is a free, family-friendly community event hosted by Surrounded By Love to raise awareness of childhood cancer while supporting families affected by a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

This annual event brings together local families, businesses, nonprofits, and community partners for an afternoon of live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, games, children's activities, and community resources. More than just a celebration, the Kick Kancer Block Party creates opportunities to educate the public about childhood cancer, foster meaningful community connections, and inspire support for families navigating treatment.

As a Durham-based nonprofit, Surrounded By Love is committed to providing emotional support, self-care advocacy, financial assistance, and practical resources throughout a family's cancer journey. Funds raised through this event help provide Love Bags, groceries, household essentials, utility assistance, gas cards, meals, and other essential services that ease the burdens families face during treatment.
