Come join us for an afternoon of fun and celebration at the Khayrhaye Gala! Khayrhaye is a registered non-profit in Canada since May.5th,2024. We have been operating at the Rideau Hub since Aug.1st,2023. Our vision is to be the leading institution for the preservation, celebration, and education of Somali heritage, culture, and history. Khayrhaye’s goals are to collect, preserve, and showcase historical and cultural artifacts that represent Somali heritage, including traditional crafts, oral histories, and literature. We want to continue to build our centre and grow our collection of Somali artifacts, research and services for the Somali community. On Dec.1st,2024 we will be hosting our 1st Gala to help fundraise for the centre and it's operations. Please join us of a afternoon of Somali history, cultural food, and entertainment.
