Keystone Cougar owners New Years celebration 2025.If you enjoy winter camping or want to try it for the first time, consider camping with us at Buck Creek state park, located in southwest Ohio, Dec 28th-Jan 1st.
We will have a pot luck style dinner on Dec 31st where everyone brings a dish. This is the only meal we plan to have as a group. There is a small community fire ring for gathering in the evenings, and a small covered area with picnic tables for our pot luck dinner.
We will have a projection screen set up for the ball drop.
We gather for a fire in the evenings and hang out during the day, usually near a fire.
We camped the last three New Years in this park and it is always a good time. We had 5 Cougars last year.
The sites are electric only. The main heated restroom/shower house will be open for the winter. There is no power at the gathering area for the pot luck dinner, so if you have an alternative power source to keep your food hot you may need to use it. The main camp loop will be open, which is approximately 60 powered sites.
We camp regardless of the weather. Last year we had rain and a little snow. If interested, plan accordingly for all weather possibilities.
There is a walmart about 3 miles from the park entrance, just in case.
Bryan Johnson will co-host the event with me so questions may directed to either of us.
