This year, I’m celebrating my 2nd Kidneyversary.
Two years ago, I was given the gift of a new beginning. So this year, I wanted to celebrate my life in a way that means more than simply marking another year. I wanted to create a space where we can celebrate life, honor the journeys that shaped us, and recognize the strength it takes to keep going.
That is how K.E.Y. was born.
K.E.Y. The KidneyVivors™ Experience: A Kidneyversary Celebration is my invitation to you to come celebrate with me, but also to celebrate you.
Whether your journey involves kidney disease, transplantation, illness, loss, adversity, healing, personal transformation, or simply overcoming something you once thought would break you, there is room for your story here.
You do not have to have a kidney story to have a K.E.Y. story.
This experience is for survivors, families, caregivers, supporters, advocates, healthcare professionals, donors, and anyone who understands what it means to overcome, heal, grow, and step into purpose.
Because Turning Scars Into Assignments™ isn't limited to one kind of scar or one kind of journey. It's about recognizing what you've survived, honoring how far you've come, and discovering what your story can become.

About K.E.Y. The KidneyVivors™ Experience
This year, I’m celebrating my 2nd Kidneyversary, and I wanted to celebrate it differently.
After everything my journey has taught me about life, resilience, faith, purpose, and the power of community, I knew I didn’t want this milestone to be just about me. I wanted to create an experience where we could come together and celebrate life and the journeys that brought us here.
That is how K.E.Y. The KidneyVivors™ Experience was born.
Although this celebration was inspired by my kidney journey, K.E.Y. is not just about kidneys. It is about every person who has survived something, overcome something, healed from something, or is still finding their way through it.
K.E.Y. welcomes survivors, families, caregivers, supporters, advocates, healthcare professionals, donors, and anyone who understands what it means to keep going when life doesn’t go according to plan.
For me, Turning Scars Into Assignments™ means recognizing that what we have survived does not have to be the end of our story. Sometimes, the very things that tried to break us become the things that reveal our purpose.
This experience is a celebration of life, resilience, connection, purpose, and possibility. Come share space with us. Come celebrate. Come connect. Come be inspired.
