About this Event
The Ohio Prescribed Fire Council is offering this intermediate opportunity to help land managers obtain more knowledge about the core skills needed to conduct prescribed burns. Presentations will cover topics such as prescribed fire regulations, goals & objectives of prescribed burning, ignition techniques, smoke management, contingency planning, and a field discussion of burn units and planning.
This workshop registration fee of $40 will include sandwiches & salad, morning refreshments, and workshop materials. Be sure to pick one of two options for sandwiches, for lunch which includes chips and a cookie. The workshop will be limited to 50 people, intended for people who wish to improve their prescribed burning skills.
