Monday, March 23 | 7 pm | Cowlitz County Museum
Meet Susie Revels Cayton—daughter of the first Black U.S. Senator, associate editor of The Seattle Republican, writer, and activist—fighting for justice with ink and fire at the turn of the 20th century.
🎠Carmelita
Tuesday, March 24 | 6 pm | R.A. Long High School
Meet Carmelita Colòn, who challenges us to question assumed history and reimagine what it means to reclaim our stories.
Presented during Women’s History Month. Sponsored by Longview Public Library, the Ethnic Support Council, and the Cowlitz County Museum.
