To celebrate the amazing life of Kevin Flinders, we are hosting a Last Paddle/BBQ + Campfire.

DETAILS FOR EVERYONE:
Event Reservation Number: Will Be Provided by September 6
GRR = Grand River Rafting
PROVIDED:
- Burgers (we will be collecting dietary restrictions)
- Condiments
- Non-Alcoholic Bevvies (water bottles, juice boxes, pop cans)
- Plates/Cutlery/Napkins
WHAT TO BRING (optional):
- Seating
- Cups/Glasses
- Picnic blanket
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Weather dependent items (umbrella, rain coat, tarp, etc.)
- Kleenex
** Potluck contributions such as salads, deserts, and snacks are welcome and appreciated**

I'M RENTING A BOAT:
Time: 10am-10pm
Paddle Duration: ~4 hours
1. Contact the GRR at 519-442-2519 to book your reservation. Have your Event Reservation Number with you (Will be provided by Sept 6).
2. Arrive at Brant Park no later 10am
3. Arrive at the main gate and provide the Event Reservation Number (Will be provided here by Sept 6). This gives you access to the park and parking lot
4. Follow the blue Grand River Rafting signs to the parking lot (a map will be posted shortly) and park your vehicle.
5. There will be a shuttle in the parking lot to take us to Paris. All shuttles depart at 10:30 sharp. Before the shuttle departs, GRR will give us a Map Talk
6. We will arrive at Wincy Mills and start launching our boats. Stronger paddlers are asked to launch last to ensure the group stays together.
7. We will attempt a floatilla to share memories and stories of Kev!
8. Around 4pm we will arrive back at Brant Park.
9. GRR staff will help with rental returns.
10. About 50 meters away is our "event space" where there are picnic tables, washrooms, and a large GRR Trailer to know you're in the right place.
11. Enjoy your time celebrating Kev !!

I'M BRINGING MY OWN BOAT:
Time: 9:30am-10pm
Paddle Duration: ~4 hours
1. Drop off canoes at Wincy Mills in Paris (31 Mechanic St, Paris) by no later than 9:30am.
2. GRR Staff will watch our equipment
3. Drive to Brant Park
4. Arrive at the main gate and provide the Event Reservation Number (Will be provided here by Sept 6). This gives you access to the park and parking lot
5. Follow the blue Grand River Rafting signs to the parking lot (a map will be posted shortly) and park your vehicle.
