Egypt may be the most famous of Africa’s ancient kingdoms but it was far from the only one. JUST A FEW HUNDRED MILES SOUTH OF THE EGYPTIAN BORDER sat the great CITY OF KERMA in what is now SUDAN. This city ruled over a kingdom that lasted hundreds of years and once even threatened to take over Egypt. This tour will showcase the ART AND ARCHITECTURE THEY LEFT BEHIND their history and HOW THE EGYPTIANS DEALT WITH THEIR SOUTHERN NEIGHBOR in peace and in war.
