Get to know the famous Sadya in Banana leaves from the local Malayalee chef @Sun Ema.
A normal sadya would have about 30+ dishes. But the biggest sadya in Kerala(A southern state of India) is the famous Valla Sadya (boat sadya), which is conducted on the conducted on Ashtamirohoni day is a unique mass feast with strong devotional moorings and the devotees are served over 60 dishes. In this event you can taste approximate of 31 dishes 🙂

- Eat in banana leaves
- No forks, spoons, knives or plates 😃
- No Furnitures, so get ready to sit on the floor 😃
You’re more than welcome to take leftovers home with you, provided that you bring take away boxes with you.
